I was looking at these photos for the first time earlier and the first thing that came into my mind was: "If I could wear only a designer for the rest of my life, I would wear Valentino".

I find the haute couture supplement you get twice a year with Vogue Italia more beautiful than the issue itself. I love how they focus on Italian designers and always dedicate the very first pages to Valentino.

Givenchy Haute Couture Fall 2011

Once again here I am, writing about the extraordinary grace of the Givenchy Haute Couture collection. I am absolutely mesmerized. It touches me to think there still are talented people who can create pieces like these. Just look at the embroidery and think how many hours of hard work and pain it has taken to do this. (ok, the pieces are a bit too similar to the Spring ones, but who cares? they are beautiful)
