Givenchy Haute Couture Fall 2011

Once again here I am, writing about the extraordinary grace of the Givenchy Haute Couture collection. I am absolutely mesmerized. It touches me to think there still are talented people who can create pieces like these. Just look at the embroidery and think how many hours of hard work and pain it has taken to do this. (ok, the pieces are a bit too similar to the Spring ones, but who cares? they are beautiful)

Mark Fast Fall 11

in his Fall 11 collection Mark Fast is mixing the softness of wool and the hardness of black leather in the most perfect of ways.

The Curve of Forgotten Things

I usually dislike the Mulleavy sisters' work, but I must admit this video is great. They couldn't make a better decision choosing Elle Fanning - even though she is so young, she's perfect for the role. She looks like a strange mix between an angel, a ghost and a star.



Also, I think Rodarte's show was the only one in this NYFW to leave a positive impression on me so far.

Wasn't the makeup from last season's show great as well?
