I was looking at these photos for the first time earlier and the first thing that came into my mind was: "If I could wear only a designer for the rest of my life, I would wear Valentino".

Fixdesign Spring Summer 2012

Fixdesign is a fairly young Italian brand which I've always labelled as too posh and chic. I've always thought of their collections as 'too sweet', but I'm actually starting to change my mind. Maybe because it's in the Spring that I start to wear as a girl? My friends say I wear like an Oxford undergraduate in the Winter, and I totally agree with them LOL

I have fell in love with their straw bags! I want the one with white details so much, but it's so expensive! It costs about €230 and honestly, that's way too much. Do you get what I mean when I say they're 'too posh'?

1. Beachfront View dress
3. Sun Sun Sun dress

Finally it's that time of the year again - I love when cherry trees are in full bloom and I can enjoy being in the sun without actually burning my face! Spring is definitely my favourite season, partly because I feel like wearing pastels again and partly because my birthday's in it - I turned eighteen on Saturday 24th and the flowers in the photo above were gifted to me. Aren't they just gorgeous? How can anyone not love flowers?

Valentino Haute Couture by Deborah Turbeville, Vogue Italia March 2012

I find the haute couture supplement you get twice a year with Vogue Italia more beautiful than the issue itself. I love how they focus on Italian designers and always dedicate the very first pages to Valentino.

Vintage Lollipop x Magazzini del Sale

"The conception of this five t-shirt capsule collection was produced from the collaboration between Magazzini del Sale and Bella Harris, an American writer and author of the blog Vintage Lollipops. Integrating the elements of personal style and artistic vision, Bella's designs include illustrations exclusively selected for Magazzini del Sale. Bella is an author of Children's/YA Literature, freelance writer, artist/fashion illustrator, style blogger, and true lover of fashion, who is changing the world one pair of shoes at a time."

As soon as I saw Bella's blog, I knew she wasn't an ordinary fashion blogger. She paints, she draws, she takes photos, she designs t-shirts for the Italian label Magazzini del Sale. Her capsule collection has been featured on tons of cool websites (and now it's on mine too, ha!). The simple white cotton t-shirts look perfect on basically everything: on a pair of jeans or a bodycon skirt, under a jacket, even under a tuxedo. Moreover, the fact that they're made in Italy means one thing: good quality. It's 100% cotton, nothing like H&M t-shirts! One thing I love about mine is that it doesn't cling to my body too much, so it's nice and comfy :) I bet I'll be wearing this awesome tee a lot this summer!

You can learn more about Bella and her t-shirts on her blog, etsy shop and art print shop.

Precious Embroidery

Photobucket

A trend I spotted on Fall catwalks was embroidering - cross stitching, actually. Maybe it's because I'm such a granny I noticed it as soon as I saw the shows photos! While Valentino interpretes it in the usual romantic way, Dolce & Gabbana look back at Sicilian Baroque. And even Balmain incorporates romantic embroideries in shiny armours.
